What's that, you ask? I will tell you. Joey is now the slightly-embarrassed owner of an Alfie Couture Designer dog diaper - with suspenders. That's right - the little guy now has his own suspenders!

Getting them on and off is a hassle every time I want to take him outside, but it's well worth it to be able to give him more freedom in the house! And I think eventually he'll forgive me for this humiliation. Especially since I was able to convince him that all the dogs are jealous - even the puppies!

Glad that the suspenders are working for Joey. You say that he is marking everywhere...too much freedom for him maybe? When I adopted Bill he did something similar, lifting his leg downstairs, upstairs. We were told that he likely had too much space and was marking it. So, we limited where he could go and used a crate as well. Even though he no longer lifts his leg in the house, he is still crated when nobody is home and he is much more relaxed. Just a thought for you to consider.
Oh, Joey, don't worry! I bet you'll start a fashion trend and before you know it, ALL the dogs will be wearing pants with suspenders. Yep. Just any day now. Not me, of course. But, um, other...you know...cool dogs.
