I believe this is Noelle practicing her best "who me?" look. She may be suggesting that she has really been busy chewing the deer antler under her front leg, and the cup just happened to end up right there in front of her somehow.
Rotating toys is one good way to keep each toy "new" and your dog interested in playing with it. We do a lot of rotating toys around here, although I'm not sure how much it helps. In the short 3 minutes that I've been working on this post, I've been interrupted twice three times in order to take away my cell phone, a shoe, and now the TV remote, from Ziggy. You would think I would have this house puppy proofed by now, but at the rate Ziggy is growing, it's getting harder to find safe places to keep things!

Perhaps it was the Crunch Factor with the cup. I LOVE my deer antlers. Dad almost always gets new ones for me in November.
aww... noelle's' so cute. love her ears. we don't get deer antlers in malaysia.. i'm not even sure we have deer here? big ones with antlers? i don't think so but i'm sure molly tony and spike would love to try them someday.
Quizz has a love affair with plastic bottles and the caps. He doesn't ingest it at all. He just chews them flat and leaves them for me to step on in the middle of the night. Flat plastic bottle hurt. I think the plastic as a give that they like.
But whose to know the mystery of the canine mind? I certainly don't.

I am gathering from this post that we are not suppose to chew on cups, shoes, cell phones, remotes, and da like. Why would I want to chew on my things...duh?
At da rate Ziggy is growing it will be harder to place him in a home too...welcome home Ziggy...hehehe!

It's always more fun to chew on things we aren't supposed to - my favorite it kitten toys.

ooo, ooo! i love plastic cups 'n thingies, too!! what's so wrong with chewin' on a plastic cup?!
*woof*
the booker man
3 remotes....
and he still would rather eat my shoes instead of his toys!
The toy rotation is such a good idea, that we often forget. We keep the dogs' toys in a big bin that Miss M. can grab with ease, but more Mr. B and his stubby arms can't reach. I guess the toys are getting rotated by Miss M.
Lucy used to like to prop her toys against the chair leg and chew on the leg. She always looked so innocent as she did it.
When Tsar was a pup he ate three remotes in two days. You'd think we were really slow learners, but he was very creative about finding things to chew.
My mom tries to do that "rotating" thing with my toys but I always go looking for my old ball!
Sounds like Ziggy always finds something interesting to play with!
Have a great day!

we try rotating, but the pups have their favorites :)
you could trick them by pretending the toys are your remote.. i'm not sure how that'll work out though.
Hi DFM! My mom and dad went outta town (WITHOUT ME!) this weekend so's I didn't get to come by and see you on Friday. I think Noelle has been falsely accused of chewing on the cup. She prolly saved that cup from Ziggy and was getting ready to puts it back in the cabinet. Poor Noelle. It's prolly hard to be her sometimes.

OMG - she is so cute! And the look already works! :)
