He thinks hands are for chewing. He thinks barking will get him a reprieve from the crate so he can sleep in bed with me.
He thinks sitting nicely deserves a treat every time.
He thinks cat tails are toys.
The problem is, he's so adorable and goofy that I can't help but laugh at him!

He is so cute. An since we only have to deal with his inconsistencies virtually, he's that much cuter!
He is learning your hand signals. 2 weeks ago, if I used the "NO" hand signal, he would either stop biting me, find a different part of my body to bite or bite more gently! I thought it showed he was learning to communicate.

I am not sure the cats find him so cute when he tries to chew on their tails. But he is starting to understand more signs. I can tell when I motion for him to "come, outside" and he lays down that he knows exactly what I want - and he is letting me know he has no desire to go outside right then! At least he's getting the house-trained part - if he didn't try to chew on everything he would be almost perfect.
Alas, the squirt bottle has no effect except to make him bark. The no-chew spray has no effect except he likes to lick it before he resumes chewing. I'm still in search of a better training aid.
Adorable and goofy helps us doggies get away with so much! He is cute for sure!
