A few weeks ago Twinkie Maria Conchita Espenoza Cucaracha Doodle-Bug Chupa Cabra Twinkerson organized the first annual
Global Animal Blogging Event. The event was a lot of fun, and had animal bloggers participating from all over the world. I made many new friends by visiting all the bloggers participating in GABE. First was
Twinkie of course, a four pound teacup Chihuahua who is funny and smart. I also found
Bella the Westie, who wears a different adorable outfit every day. There is
Sugar the Golden Retriever,
Boomer the Ridgeback with a nubbin' tail,
Booker Man who is one of
Mayzie's two boyfriends, and many others. And then there is
Puddles. I'm not sure how I lived before GABE without reading the
we 3 doxies blog every day. Puddles always brightens my day. You can find the full list of participants

Recently (okay not so recently - I'm behind as usual) I learned that I won a GABE giveaway on
Sugar's blog! The package arrived in the mail, and Noelle and Ziggy helped me open it.
Okay, to be accurate, Noelle tried to help me open it while Ziggy tried to chew on Noelle. What else would you expect?
We opened it to find a very cute flower power collar, along with a picture of Sugar!
The collar is going to a very special dog that will be introduced soon!
