Casey and the Snow

I love hearing from the people who adopt dogs I have fostered.  I recently heard an update from Casey's mom, and thought you might enjoy it as well.  Casey has always been an easy dog to care for.  He even tries to keep his yard nice and neat.  Here is what his mom sent me:

Casey Jones is sure a creature of habit. I noticed all the snow in the neighbor's yards was all messed up from their dogs. Then I looked at mine. This is a picture of my back yard four days after the big snow. Maybe Casey is afraid he will not find his way back to the door.

Hummm that is most interesting. I wonder if other dawgs stay in their own paths or.. wander around.. like I do. You should survey everybuddy!!

He made a path for himself and then used it on the way back too. Pretty smart!

Aww so nice to hear good things for Casey! He does seem quite funny out in the snow. My dogs don't really seem to care which way they go although Sophie being so little does appreciate a good path.

hearing that a former foster is living happily ever after is better than christmas, halloween, easter and a birthday all wrapped up in one!

When we lived in snow country Stumpy would follow the path made by my german shepherd, only deviating slightly to avoid the pee and poo.. I'd say Casey is a pretty smart guy.

Heehee...that's funny. I'm so very much glad Casey is doing so good.

And I luved your other postie abouts how different all your doggies are about the snow. But you KNOW that my favoritest one was Ziggy the Abominable Snow Monster! RAWR!
