The Best Things In Life Are Free

One thing I love about dogs is they don't care about brand names or what's in style.  They don't care if their toys come from a specialty pet store or a discount store.  I bet you can't guess where this wonderful toy came from:
Target with an orange plastic broken cup

Actually, this was Target's find.  Before it was a dog toy, it was a discarded broken plastic cup left under the deck.
Target and Forrester both trying to hold the cup in their mouth

But now, it's become a highly sought after, favorite dog toy.  Best find ever!

They look like they are having lots of fun with their self-created toy.

Our house is like that - the best toys are some of the ones they find - milk jug rings, toilet paper tubes, bits of balled up paper. Some of the fancy stuff - nope, no interest at all.

Reminds me of little kids who open some fabulous birthday present - an play with the box! Dog's don't need fancy - they just need fun.

Sometimes the best toys are the ones they find themselves!

That looks like a pretty fun toy! Sometimes the most innocuous things make the best ones, don't they? :)

Gosh. That cup looks like FUN! My favoritest non-toy toy used to be shoes. Until mom explained that they're not really toys. So that was sad for me.

But I also very much like little cardboard boxes - you know, like rice comes in? And Starbucks cups.

a favorite toy at our house is the cardboard roll the toilet paper is wrapped on. When the TP is spent, the roll goes to the dogs. they LOVE it!
