Saturday's Adoption Event

First, the puppies.

They didn't have much to say.
Next was Itty Bit, a three-legged Chihuahua.  She had plenty to say to me.
"I refuse to acknowledge your presence."

"This is what I think of you and your camera."

"Mom, can't you make her stop?!"

Then her foster brother Hank Hill came to her rescue.

"Hey little sis, just do what I do..."

"Lie down and take a nap!"

My foster dogs were there too.  Ziggy has grown about three puppy sizes in the past two weeks.  What, you didn't know puppies came in sizes?!  Yes, they do.  Really.

"I'm a size eighty-seven."

Sorry Ziggy, but you're not quite that big.  Although Frankie might agree with you.

Kermit was there, and he seemed to enjoy himself.

"It's Party Time!"

I never knew he was such a party animal.

There were several other pets there for adoption as well.  Russell, a Boxer mix, was adopted, and I think Itty Bit the Chihuahua was scheduled for a home visit this week, so she may be adopted soon too!

Those meet and greet events are great. I hope they all find good homes, including giant sized foster puppy.

That was a very pawsitive post. I wish homes for all.

I went through lots of puppy sizes. I started with puppy size 19 and ended at puppy size 135.

Oh, my goodness. I'll take them all. Okay, that's not realistic, but I'd like to take them all! Good luck, and I know they'll all get great homes. They all look like great companions for someone!

Awww...I luved lookin' at all those Most Beautiful faces. I had to go to a 'dopshun event like that, too, and it kinda freaked me out. But lucky for me, my mom walked in at that very first one! I'm Most Glad Russell got adopted and I'll keep my paws crossed for Itty Bit.

What a great group. I need to stay far from those pet adoption events because I'm so tempted to take them all. Ziggy looked quite calm. Then again, I am partial to larger dogs.

Glad some pups got homes at the adoption event!

Oh they are all such cuties, but I have to admit it - if we were picking one we would pick Ziggy because he is just so adorable! Of course our current house would never work for a spunky puppy like him (and the cats would probably kill me in my sleep), but he is just so cute I can't believe that he hasn't gotten snatched up already!

I do hope that nice family and homes come along. We do not have anything like that here.
