Introducing the Nameless Kittens

It's been a very crazy couple of weeks.  So crazy that I haven't even named the four kittens I took in last week.  Some people like to hold off on naming new foster pets until they know more of what they are like.  But I like to name them as soon as I meet them.  Sometimes I even name them before I meet them.  I just like them to have names!  And yet somehow I've had four kittens here for almost a week and they are still nameless.  So since I don't want to hold off on introducing them any longer, I'll just have to fill in the names later.  Here are the four new kittens.

The all gray tabby kitten

The gray tabby kitten with white socks

The black tabby kitten

The white with black spots kitten

These guys are adorable and hilarious.  And they bring the total number of cats and dogs in my house up to 13.  Which makes me too busy to have time to name them.  But it does leave me enough time to play with them and laugh at them and annoy them.

Here is what my daughter's bedroom looks like immediately after setting out some canned cat food.

It's a lot of fun to have so many cute cats and kittens around. Until it's time to clean the litter boxes. Then it's all drudgery. Because nine cats/kittens can create a lot of... oh never mind. Just take my word for it - fostering is not all fun and games. I am never more aware of this than when I try to plan for a vacation and find someone to watch 13 dogs and cats. For some reason, most people already seem to know that fostering is not all fun and games. They want a lot of money to do what I do every day for free. And I wonder if I am in the wrong business. But then I look at these lives that I have saved, and I know every minute (even the minutes spent cleaning litter boxes) is well worth it. And no amount of money could replace the joy that I find in saving these kittens' lives.

Oh, my, look at their precious little faces! Sooooooo sweet! I admit a particular liking to the black tabby and the black and white spotted one. Maybe because I already have a grey tabby adoptee and a brown tabby adoptee. :-)

Yeah, those litter boxes....I don't mind too much, but I have only 4 boxes for the three cats! I don't even want to know how many you have. LOL.

We know all about the hard work...We watch momma do it all the time with her foster dogs. She always says "no matter how much poo....seeing their happy faces every morning is worth it"

Can you name one Mollie? I really like the one with socks...she is soooo cute!

Would you look at those cutie-patooties! I see the mischief in their eyes.

Ack! They are SQUEE-dorable! And if you lived close by, I would totally come over and takes care of your kittehs. I've heard they leave tasty treats in their litter boxes (but I don't know for myself cuz mom has our kittehs' litter boxes all locked up - darn it).

PeeS. I thinks maybe you oughta change your name to Cat Foster Mom. I'm just sayin'.

Oh, they are all so adorable! Litter boxes aside, fostering is an amazing thing. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to help these animals!

How cute are they!!! I love the little black tabby, he justs looks so darn cute with that fuzzy little head. If you need help with names, let me know... I always have some extra options in case I need them. :)

you are wonderful.. and without people like you it would be awful for these little ones...
I agree with JulieB - why not run a naming game? Love Darcy and Bingley

I lost count of the number, but it looks like you do really have a full house. They are so cute, but I also forgot about litter pan issues.

You're a good lady. Finding pet sitters for ten dogs is hard so I know what you must be going thru. We haven't had a vacation in many years. Instead we stay home and play with the dogs.

Already having 12 black and gray kittens here, I'm partial to the black and white one, myself, but they're all almost as cute as mine. :}

You should give a name to every animal. Here are lists which can help you doing so:
