Pixel Was Adopted!

Pixel was adopted at PetSmart on Saturday. I am happy for her that she found a home - but a bit sad for me. She is a very sweet, wonderful kitten and I miss her already.

Ziggy, for some reason, was not adopted.  I know, it's surprising - I was sure this would be his week.  Okay not really - I was pretty sure it wouldn't be his week, and I was right.  But he did have one person look at him.  Unfortunately she was there at the end of the day, when Ziggy is tired and stressed out and being his most misbehaving self.  I suggested that if she saw him when he wasn't tired and stressed out, she would like him more.  But then I referred her to his Fan Page so she could find out the truth about Ziggy.  So I probably won't be hearing from her again.  Nice lady from PetSmart - if you read this - you don't really have to be a lumberjack to adopt Ziggy - although if you have any trees growing in your house that you need chopped down, Ziggy just might be the dog for you.

Yahoo for Pixel. Although we're not in the least bit surprised.

Now, we're a little suspicious that Ziggy acts up because he wants to stay with you forever. He loves you so much, why wouldn't he do everything he can to stay put? :)

Yippee for Pixel! I had no doubt she was gonna get adopted lightning-fast!

Oh, Ziggy, Ziggy, Ziggy. I'm with Stella, Gunther and Betty. I think it's a little suspicious how he always misbehaves at just the "right" time.

That is great that Pixel found her forever home. We know you will miss her but still, it is good she is at her home now.

With Ziggy - did you ever think that maybe he acts up when he is looked as just so he has to stay with you a little longer? I mean, with Noelle there as a big sister (and Remi of course, but Noelle being so similar to him) who would want to leave? He knows a good deal when he sees it!

And did you happen to think of names for the nameless kitties yet? It is so hard sometimes but sometimes I have them and then find the kitten for them! I am still torn on our little girl kitten - I love her current name but had my heart set on a different one. You are welcome to either if you would like them (I just read it catching up and now can't remember if any were girls). They are Trixie and Stella. I am also a big fan of Milo for a boy kitty (but since we know a Milo I haven't used it yet - but with fosters it is ok because their forever homes might change them anyway).

Who's Merin?
I agree with everybudy else...Ziggy is smarter than you think. In his mind he has found his furever home.
WELCOME HOME ZIGGY!!!!
Congrats to Pixel!

Merlin is a magician. It's also the name of my friend's foster cat. It's also the name of my cat. I bet its the name of another cat or dog out there too. Does that help, Puddles?

As for Ziggy - nope, he's not misbehaving because he wants to stay with me - he told me so. He said "I really want to get adopted and get out of here.". And so I told him he just had to stop chewing everyone and everything. And then he said he would work on it. Really, we had that conversation. We did.

At the Saturday adoption, I put my finger into Ziggy's cage to pet him. He did not bite me immediately. I think he is learning to respect humans!
There were soom people who took phone pictures of Ziggy to send to their homes! They were really impressed when I told them that you were teaching him sign language. Linda

We're very happy for Pixel. She's so pretty, we knew she'd find a home quickly.

Ziggy could have helped us with our storm damage. He's have fit right in with my group of workers. His forever home is out there. The right person will come along.

I haven't been around much Laurie, but I have to say, I think the old Marilyn Monroe quote (right?) should apply to Ziggy..."if you can't handle me at my worst, you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." ;) Or something like that. =)
