Watching

In the morning when I leave for work, this is usually what I see from my driveway.
Can you see them?

The living room window - Noelle and Remi

The bedroom window - assorted cats (Merlin and Sampson in this photo)

They used to make me feel guilty as I would drive away, leaving them behind.  Until I realized they had just been watching out the window to make sure I was really gone so they could throw wild parties.  It's true - I recently caught Ziggy and Noelle plotting together.

Now that I know the truth, I don't feel guilty leaving them behind anymore.  And I have made sure that there is no more beer in the house!

aww... they miss you when you're not around.. that's sooooo sweet. only spike looks at me longingly when i leave in the morning. the cats are too busy licking each others butts and the other two pooches are too obsessed with bugging the cats.

I can't BELIEVES that Noelle and Ziggy lets the cat outta the sack! I thinks they're prolly gonna get demerits from "The Club" for letting a human learn this top-secret information. I means, I'll see what I can do to help 'em out but...

I know my pups were sad when they lost their ability to watch us leave

Oh my gosh, that's so funny! I love all the little faces just peeking out there watching you. My own fur-kids, including the fosters, love to perch on the window seats throughout our house and watch us leave. Hmmm, I wonder if they are throwing wild cat parties too? I noticed that the catnip was out of the pantry one day... it's all beginning to make sense. :)

Oh yes, many naughty things happen while the humans are away. Hehehe. My lips are sealed.

yeah, we love making our human miss us, we have great sad, 'don't leave us' faces when she goes to work, but once gone we sleep on her pillow, raid the food cupboard, head butt the cacti (seriously) and loads of other stuff - its freedom! Darcy and Bingley xx (thanks for your comment on naughty kittens)
