Relaxation

On Saturday after the flea market I collapsed on the couch and didn't move for several hours. Then I took a few pictures of the dogs, ate some kettle corn, and went back to the couch where I remained for the rest of the evening. Fortunately the dogs were tired from being at the event all day too.

This is Casey. He looks happy to be back home, don't you think?  Greeting people all day is hard work!

Remi got to visit the event for a few hours, and it really tired him out.  He wasn't on his best behavior and got sent home early.  I think he knows he is in trouble.

You might think that having only three legs would make Tripoli get tired more quickly.  But this three-legged dog can hop all over, all day long, and still have energy to wrestle and play at the end of the day!

Noelle was the only dog that didn't get to go to the event. This made her very sad.
I think if she keeps working on her "woe is me" look, someday she'll be as good at it as Mayzie

Ziggy only barely made it in the door before collapsing in the laundry room. Of course he made sure to pull the lid off of the recycling container before collapsing. Even when he is too exhausted to stand, he's never too tired to chew on something.

That sounds like an exhausting day for everybody! Hopefully you all got a good rest. Tell mom that kettle corn is not really adequate foodables to keep her going. She needs to try some livers.

Look at all those dogs! Sounds like a busy day - Noelle looks sad - woe is she! I don't like it when I don't get to go with Mom places either.

Wow it sounds like everyone had a busy day except for Noelle! I bet when she saw how tired the others were she was kind of glad that she got to stay home!

Oh yes...Noelle has a very good woe look! I thinks maybe somehow we're sisters, don't you?

Looks like everybuddy else had a good time, though. Well, except for Remi. He prolly just wanted to go home so he and Noelle could clean the house for you or something.

Ziggy is incorrigible, I think. That's another word for "yours forever" according to Blog Mom. You all did put in quite a long day. Hope you're getting rested up.

Yes, meeting people can be totally exhausting. It's funny how exhausted the dogs can get.

That sounds like an exciting -- but exhausting -- day! After reading your narrative for Ziggy, I biggified his picture ... he really gave that lid a good chewing, didn't he? ;)

They are a beautiful group of dogs! It is such hard and exhausting work meeting all new people. We have an occasional foster dog that comes to stay with us here in NH. Our fosters come from TN kill shelters! Thanks for Fostering Dogs!
