We had a busy day at our PetSmart adoption event yesterday. Both Heartland and All Paws rescue groups were there, as well as some dogs from the St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center. It was wonderful to see so many volunteers there working to save homeless animals. And to see all of those homeless dogs and cats there, being made available for adoption thanks to those volunteers, was great. I'm not sure how many total adoptions were done yesterday, but I know there were a lot of people looking at all the available animals. None of my fosters were chosen for adoption this week, but it was still a good week. A Girl Scout troop came with donations for the dogs and cats, and a few other people also stopped and dropped off some much appreciated donations.
This senior Yorkie, also known as The Toothless Wonder, was not adopted yet either.
This Yorkie, held by one of the Girl Scouts, was adopted!
